Re: Using a MOD in role play games.
Anyone have anything to say about WODAL? good/bad points?
I know WODAL is complex for beginers, the layout of the disciplines isn't too great either but apart from that WODAl gets my vote.

I like it, its not 100% neccessary, as it will slow down rolls ect, i think to avoid confusing we would have to start rolling for ini.

I don't see how WODAL can slow down the rolling system? I don't think the inits is a good idea... As for the disciplines, I agree the way they are layout isn't the best.

i actually believe the init system is briliant, it's the best way to figure out who acts first, cause if i renember correctly combat in your games would often turn into a mesh of people preforming multiple actions at once

Re: Using a MOD in role play games.
the problem with Initis is the time, when i fight breaks out our system is supposed to make things run fast in rolling. With Initis the game will be 90% fight 10% RP, I don't think initis is a good idea the turn based idea is faster and easier.

Re: Using a MOD in role play games.
I say, either use inis, or let the ST decide who gets to go first, second ect.
I know what isador means, the combat (only when there is a large number of players) can turn into a mesh of rounds, often ending up with some players actions being totally disregarded because someone typed quicker.

Re: Using a MOD in role play games.
initative is in most games because it is a must have, if players go toe to toe with each other, if the enemy is a npc it doesnt matter that much as its usually
npc
players
npc
players
and so on
but pvp? no way without initiative
